Three of the world’s ten highest mountains are within touching distance of idyllic Pokhara, the third largest city in Nepal. This beautiful country in Asia will be home while you volunteer on local health-based initiatives.
You will be providing health support for people with special needs and assisting in training teachers, health workers and families in order to help the community provide healthcare support where it is needed.
A severe shortage of resources and labour in Nepal means that people living with disabilities, injuries or illness often do not receive adequate attention. With your help, both the community and those directly in need of medical assistance will receive the support they deserve.
