AIESEC – Large student organisation with a network in over 90 countries. The AIESEC Work Abroad Programme is open to university students and recent graduates with a business, marketing, accounting, finance, IT, engineering or language studies background. They can offer practical work experience in a diverse cultural environment.
Alliance Abroad Group – Provide many and varied opportunities for arranging shorter term jobs, internships, and teaching positions for all nationalities in several countries.
Brain Gain – Troy Erstling helps recent graduates find jobs with startups and social enterprises internationally. Positions range in duration from three month internships to two plus years and they will help you with your visa, housing, acclimation, and support throughout your stay.
BUNAC Work Programmes – Opportunities for students to travel and work in Australia, Chile, China, USA and Canada.
CIEE – Work and travel programmes and internships in the USA. CIEE also has paid Teach Abroad programs in Chile, China, Dominican Republic, South Korea, Spain, Thailand and Vietnam for university graduates.
CulturalVistas – A US organisation with inbound and outbound programmes of interest to both professionals and students, including internships with Berlin start ups, a teacher exchange, and the Alfa Fellowship Program, providing accomplished young Americans and Britons the opportunity to live abroad and work at leading Russian organisations.
English Speaking Union – The ESU operate Capitol Hill Scholarships, allowing undergraduates to undertake placements in the offices of members of the US Congress. Past interns have worked for Teddy Kennedy and on the President’s re-election campaign.
Erasmus+ – The European Union programme for education, youth, training and sport.
FISITA – An umbrella organisation for national automotive societies around the world. They offer the FISITA Travel Bursary which grants students up to €2000 to help with the associated costs of an international industrial or research placement. Applicants must be full time students of Mechanical or Automotive Engineering at either undergraduate or postgraduate level, they must have arranged an industrial or research placement in a foreign country, and they must be a member of a FISITA member society.

The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience arranges on the job training for science and engineering university students from Northern Ireland and Scotland. Administered in the UK by the British Council, IAESTE is part of an international association of over 80 member countries. Since its foundation in 1948 IAESTE has exchanged close to 300,000 students worldwide.
InterExchange – Offers Americans the chance to work in many countries including Austria, France, Italy, Norway, Spain, Turkey, Ghana, China, India and Argentina. Students from other countries can find placements in the USA.
