which volunteers offer a minimum of three hours a day

This is a job that allows for a lot of free skiing time.
There is
not so much responsibility but it is a job that needs
to be done
to the highest standards. You will work with one other
chalet
host but in a team of four to five people comprising of
manager, driver, chef and chalet hosts.
The
job involves cleaning rooms, serving food, washing up
and
helping with food prep. You need to be responsible, hard
working but outgoing and full of fun! Ideally, you should
have
some waitressing/waiting experience. We are a small, family
company that believes that if our staff are happy, our
guests
are happy so we do try to take care of you.
We
operate in the French resort of Megeve which is a

IKM / Inka Magik was established in Oxford, UK
and offers ethical tours to Peru as well as volunteer
programmes in Lima and in the Peruvian Provinces.
We
are currently recruiting 30 communicative, creative,
reliable, fun volunteers to take part in a 3 month innovative
pilot teaching programme in 15 colleges across Peru. The
placements will mainly involve teaching and assistance
with
English, although other subjects will be considered if
there is a
sufficient level of Spanish.
The
ideal candidate should be over 18, be a fluent English
speaker and, ideally have some teaching experience, a
university or postgraduate degree. It is to be noted,
however,
that all applications will be considered in their own
right.

will be working closely with our local charity partner
in
Peru, 'Fe y Alegria' (www.feyalegria.org), who have over

years experience in the field of education in Peru, working
with
some of the most underprivileged children and communities.

will support the volunteer in every way possible, through
our organisation and with our local partner. The selected
volunteer will gain an insight into Peruvian life, form
new
friendships and have an experience of a lifetime.

completion of the placement, we invite the volunteer on
a free complimentary 4-day trek, the Inca Trail, one of

world's most spectacular treks, culminating in the visit
to
Machu Picchu.

International Volunteer Programme offers 16-30 year olds
the opportunity to join international teams of volunteers
working on short-term projects in over 50 countries world-wide.

Please be careful if you are asked to send money in advance

employer or an agency. Though many organisations that
advertise
in JAB may require a fee (ie gap year expeditions and
voluntary
organisations requiring a contribution towards food and
accommodation), it is not legal for UK employment agencies
to
charge employees for job placing services (au pair agencies
are
one of the few exceptions). If you believe an advertiser
in this
bulletin is not playing the game fairly, please report
