forward to new adventures working around the World in the
New Year. This month we present another double issue but should be
back to normal next month when we return to Turkey. It still
seems strange that we are going to live there but there are lots
of things that need doing before we get set up properly. We have a bed to sleep in now, a fridge and some garden
furniture. No curtains though - the cardboard the bed came
wrapped in is covering the window. With that and the lack of
furniture we think the place looks like a rather tidy crack den. Our connection to the internet is still sporadic and is unlikely to
change anytime soon. We had hoped to nip across to one of
the nearby Greek Islands every three months to renew our
visas but will need residence permits, at £400 each per year,
to get a phone line put in. And, like British Telecom before they were exposed to
competition, Turk Telecom is notoriously slow. It could take
months to get the line we need to catch with all the work that
needs doing on the website. One British resident was even
told that to get a phone connection he would have to buy a
telegraph pole. Another problem with the Greek Island plan was that Turkish
immigration, after a few such trips, might turn around and say
“Oi matey, what’s your game then,” and refuse to let us back in
to the country. We are currently in the UK, in County Down, Northern Ireland,
staying with Deirdre’s family. My family have started to rebel
over the time we’ve had to stay there over the past year
between the trips to Egypt, Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey. When we return to Turkey in a couple of weeks we’ll have to
pick out those curtains. It sounds distressingly grown up. So to
help you to avoid that fate we present the following jobs

to recruit a live-in Personal Assistant to support a young
individual living an active and independent life in their own
home. Our client works full time so their Personal Assistant would
have quite a lot of spare time during the day to pursue their
own hobbies or explore the local area. Our client has many
friends and family who live close by so there is plenty of social
activity with this assignment. This client would like a carer who is happy fitting in with their
lifestyle which involves shopping, painting, socialising with
friends, watching films and sport. The work pattern is up to 3 weeks on and then one week off,
giving you the opportunity to visit friends and see the sights. To apply you must:
