Work as a Cook in southern France


PGL is synonymous with learning outside the classroom in a framework of fun, safety and achievement. We’ve been giving young people the adventure of a lifetime since 1957 and now operate at 24 outdoor activity centres across the UK, France and Spain.

We’re currently looking for an experienced Cook to join our Catering team at Domaine de Segries, our activity centre in the Aredche region of southern France.

The catering operations at our activity centres are modern enterprises set up to deliver meals which excite our guests and staff as much as their outdoor adventure experiences. We want you to build on your experience and help us continue to drive standards. This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your catering skills, including cooking, ordering, accounting for stock and staff supervision.

What do we look for in our Cooks?
1) Experience of working in a high volume catering
2) The ability to deliver high levels of customer service.
3) A positive approach to team working and problem solving.
4)Excellent organisation skills and the ability to work under pressure.

We offer a competitive wage of up to £372 per week, paid monthly, meals and on-site accommodation provided, access to training and development opportunities and a FREE staff uniform. We also provide return transport from a UK departure point as part of your employment package.

This is a residential job role with staff accommodation provided on centre, on a fixed term contract from June until August 2018.
