Here in rural Burgundy, we are busy restoring our farm to its former glory, including the mansion house/stables/stone walls/fencing/steam train lines and vehicles, helping to care for the animals, including pigs, sheep, chickens, 3 Fresion, 2 Clydesdale horses, and 2 dogs. We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic volunteers to help with this project, to stay for a minimum 2 weeks up to 6 weeks (flexible). In return we offer accommodation, food and wifi.
We have a weekly get together on a Friday night for a few beers with the locals at the pub, followed by a BBQ back at the farm. You will have the opportunity to visit the local markets, experience the french culture and sample the local foods and of course their famous wines. Its a great area for walking, cycling, horse riding and just exploring nature in all its glory. If you are a huge party animal and need your gadgets, please dont apply, as this is a quiet rural exquisite area of France, but if you love the quiet life, happy to get stuck in and get your hands dirty with a sense of humor and have a can do attitude then we are looking for your help.
