Management couple required for budget safari lodge in Uganda
Red Chilli Hideaway Ltd
The Red Chilli Hideaway Limited is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic management couple to manage the Red Chilli Rest Camp situated at Paraa, within the Murchison Falls Conservation Area, Uganda. They may also be required to occasionally work at our main site, The Red Chilli Hideaway, in Kampala.
Ideal candidates must be willing to commit for at least 12 months (starting around September 09, possibly earlier) but we would welcome those with plans to stay longer. They should have some experience of living or working abroad and have prior experience in the hospitality industry. A lively and out-going nature and a love of the outdoors are essential.
We are also seeking an enthusiastic and energetic assistant manager to help our existing team manage The Red Chilli Hideaway, in Kampala. The job is temporary and expected to last around 4-6 months from July 2009 onwards. However, there may well be permanent opportunities which develop from the initial period of employment. We are looking for waiters at Chef de Rang level to join our restaurant team and help us maintain the exceptional standards of food and service that our guest have come to expect from The Bath Priory. You will be joining a Michelin starred team of people who are passionate about service, fine dining and hospitality in general.
You will be responsible for a station in the restaurant and supervising the Commis Waiters to ensure that service runs smoothly and courses are called away and served correctly. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the restaurant is cleared and reset at the end of each service according to the requirements of the nest service.
Experience in hotels/restaurants that have 1, 2 or 3 rosettes or at least 1 Michelin star is preferable, however, if you are looking to move into the fine dining side of hospitality and have experience as a Chef de Rang in 4 or 5 star properties together with the right approach to hospitality, then we would love to hear from you as full training will be given.
