Teacher and Volunteer at Children’s Projects

THAILAND / Father Ray Foundation

If you are thinking about what to do during a Gap Year or would like to do some volunteering, then consider volunteering at the Fr. Ray Foundation. Volunteers are essential to our continuing work here in Thailand. Volunteer with us and you will have memories that will last a lifetime.

The work schedule varies each day with the volunteers working at all our projects; teaching English at the Vocational School for the Disabled, accompanying the children from School for the Blind on a trip to the beach or teaching them English, spending time with the kids at the Drop-In Center, arts and crafts at the Children’s Village to name just a few activities that the volunteers take part in.

We are not a volunteer agency, therefore we charge no fees. We are very grateful for what the volunteers do for the children and students under our care. In return for the help volunteers give we provide accommodation and meals. Volunteers are required to stay for at least 5 months, with start dates in late April and late October. Teaching experience is preferred, but not essential.

If you are interested or have any questions, please ask! Please visit www.fr-ray.org or email luke@fr-ray.org. Thanks!

Applicants should be fluent in English

Expires: Dec 15, 2018
