TAOYUAN CITY GOVERNMENT PUBLIC SCHOOL PROJECT
[ Job Start: Early/Middle September 2017 ]

JOB DESCRIPTION:

● VACANCIES: 20 – 30
● JOB LOCATION: Taoyuan City, Taiwan (Participating schools in this project are located in city proper, some in middle town, and a few in countryside)
● CONTRACT PERIOD: one year, renewable; from the date teacher report to school until July 31st, 2017.
● CLASS DESCRIPTION: G1 – 6 (Elementary) or G7 – 9 (Junior High) or G10 – 12 (Senior High); some positions are co-hiring.
● WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday ; 8 hours/day
● CLASS SIZE: 25 – 40 students
● SALARY: depends on education background and teaching experiences — start from NT$ 62720 – if one has a bachelor’s degree, NT$ 69,965 (Masters), NT$ 73,025 (Doctoral)
● AIRFARE REIMBURSEMENT: NT$ 80,000 (round way)
● RENTAL ALLOWANCE: NT$ 5,000/month. For those who traveled with family members (parents and spouse), the rental allowance is NT$10,000/month instead
● LABOR AND HEALTH INSURANCE available
● WORK PERMIT AND ARC provided
● CURRICULUM: ESL

*The main school who hold this project do the interview with teachers and assign the teacher to one of the schools, however, it is NOT mandatory. Teachers CAN LET the school know location preference during or before the interview.

TEACHER REQUIREMENTS:
● Bachelors degree + teacher license for public school system
● USA/UK/CAN,/AUS/NZ/IRE or SA passport holder
