Social volunteering with children in the Peruvian Andes

PERU / Minka Project

We are a small non-profit organization legally established since 2009, we are in need of volunteers for our volunteer project with children, these children come from Quechua immigrant families from areas that have been declared in extreme poverty and need by organizations (See “Map of Extreme Poverty in Peru”)

We work directly with the communities of the central Andes of Peru where there is little or no presence of the Peruvian state or voluntary organizations, they live in difficult conditions of health, nutrition and education.

Our mission is to help these children through an alternative school, with actions and activities that help in improving their education, helping to improve the self-esteem of children that has been impaired because many of the children come from Quechua families With problems, they suffer from abandonment and domestic violence, which is caused by the difficult (economic – social) situation and by the cultural marginalization of their families by the state and society.

Come and participate as a volunteer in this project built with our own hands and with the ambition to carry out a transparent, genuine and direct social work with the communities (we work with our own projects, without intermediaries of any kind)
