This unique internship is spread over a period of 3 weeks in India where you get a chance to work with 3 innovative enterprises – one in travel, second in education and third in women empowerment.
THE ROLE
Work on research projects, online fundraising and impact investing pitch decks
Execution of Marketing strategies from conceptualizing visuals, creating templates for social media, newsletter and annual report
Become the driving force for improving brand identity
Business development & working with various stakeholders – local governments, schools, individuals and corporates
Build a pipeline for potential partnerships for the social impact organisations
THE IMPACT
You will be put on a unique journey, tailored to your interests and skills, in which you will be able to, not only understand the social enterprise space in India but also improve the immediate lives of women living in slums, in Mumbai, India! Your vital work will allow the Social Enterprise to provide a better infrastructure to the women!
The Organisation
The organization shares a common goal to enable disadvantaged Indian women by providing them opportunities to earn an income as artisans, and assisting the development of skills necessary for financial independence. In doing so, the organization is also shattering social barriers for women with little education and formal training!
The skills that you will acquire:
-Deep understanding of social innovation space in India
-Understand how 3 different entreprises function
-Shadow leaders and get to see them in action
-Understanding of a new culture
-Gain work experience in one of the fastest growing economies in the world

2. Product Designer – Breaking Barriers using Art
THE ROLE
Become the driving force for designing new products and improving existing products
Understand different materials and production methods
Create product design strategy thinking of latest designs
How to make the product visually attractive to the target audience
Train women with limited design knowledge of creating new products
THE IMPACT
You will be put on a unique journey, tailored to your interests and skills, in which you will be able to, not only improve the immediate lives of women living in slums, but also be able to impact the lives of the many generations to come in Mumbai, India! Your vital work will allow the Social Enterprise to provide a better infrastructure to the women!
