CANADA / Flying Fish

Start as a keen intermediate skier and progress to CSIA Ski Instructor Level 1 – the first step on the professonal ladder. Progress to CSIA Level 2 and you have a passport to winter jobs worldwide.

The programme is modular and the syllabus progressive. You can join the three week programme to Level 1 or stay for six weeks to Level 2.

Whichever length of course you choose, you will see dramatic improvement in your technical knowledge and ability on the slopes. We cover methods of detection and correction and help you to apply these to yourself as you learn the latest techniques.

All candidates start with two weeks of ski training, in preparation for the Level 1 instructor course in the third week. You will develop good interpersonal skills and learn the specific CSIA method for teaching beginners.

The programme continues with a further two weeks of skiing and improvement training, leading to the Level 2 instructor assessment in your final week.
