Registered Nurse / Staff Nurse – Surgical Ward



HealthX have partnered with a large public hospital and health service in Queensland and have a number of acute Registered Nursing (RN) opportunities across gorgeous regional, rural and remote locations.

This Unit provides acute and elective surgical care to the patients is an 8 bed ward, with 4 Flexi beds, the Pre-Admission Clinics, and The Day Surgery Unit with 10 patient areas, able to accommodate beds or post-operative chairs. Services provided range from General Surgery, Gynaecology, Visiting specialists for Gastroenterology and Ophthalmology, and Management of patients awaiting transfer to, and returning from a tertiary centre.

– Current AHPRA registration
– Demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to delegate and prioritize work load

Note: These positions are not open to new or recent graduates and the successful candidates must have a minimum of 12 months experience in an acute setting (in Australia or a similar healthcare system).
