Psychology Coordinator in Peru needed

PERU / Supporting Kids in Peru (SKIP)

SKIP is currently seeking a Psychology Coordinator to lead our psychology programs with our children and families The Psychology Department is an integral part of SKIP holistic approach and works to increase the social and emotional well-being of all families in SKIP. It provides psychology workshops to children to teach them to be in touch with their emotional and mental wellbeing and runs parenting groups to look at behavior management techniques. It also runs direct individual therapy sessions, with a focus on brief interventions for explicit difficulties that can be resolved in usually no more than 5 or 6 appointments.

The Coordinator will work alongside the Education coordinator and Family Welfare coordinators to meet the needs of the SKIP families. S/he will also supervise a small team of local and international psychology assistants.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience, a university degree in psychology, experience living or traveling abroad, and speak an upper intermediate or advanced level of Spanish.
