Five-week short-course taught online starting 15 February 2017. Expert training for professionals, practitioners and researchers seeking to enhance their surveying skills and knowledge. The course offers detailed training in passive and non-passive bird surveying techniques, including group-based counts, and transect and aerial surveys, and mist-netting, cannon-netting and tagging as well as bird survey design and reporting results. The course will provide the expertise and essential know-how needed by the skilled practitioner in bird conservation and ecology.
