POSITION: Nursery Nurse Room Leader and Assistant (English speaking)
DUTIES: Supervise babies and children, give lunch, change nappies etc. Also, provision of “English classes” to children. Given the age of the children, this involves simple activities such as songs, games, etc. and does not require any knowledge of English grammar. The nursery has a theme each month according to the Optimist programme . Knowledge of Spanish is desirable but not essential; a willingness to learn the basics would be required.
HOURS: 40 per week approx 9.30 start and approx 4.30 finish. Start date flexible.
WAGE: 800 euros per month after tax.
ACCOM: Accommodation is not provided but the nursery will help find a room in a shared apartment. Expected cost around 150 – 200 euros per month.
WORK: Successful applicants would be given help with paperwork, opening a bank account, getting a mobile phone etc once here.
EXTRA: Possibility of earning extra money in the evening giving English lessons. (around €10/hr, and in our evening playschool (5€/hr
