Hotel Head Chef Wanted in France

As the Head Chef you will be working in one of our Chalet Hotels. Your responsibilities will include the smooth running of your kitchen, ensuring that the budgetary control for the kitchen is on target, supervising, training and organising your team and ensuring that our high standards for cleanliness and hygiene, procedures and company image are maintained at all times. You will ensure that the kitchen will be producing superb, well presented food for 40-200 guests.

As Head Chef you will need to be self-motivated and confident in your own abilities, with excellent organisational, communication and inter-personal skills and the ability to lead a team.

As well as the skills related to your role you will also be required to assist with other physical duties such as deliveries, snow clearing, assisting with luggage and lifting. You will be expected throughout the season to fully support the Chalet Hotel and Child Care programmes in your resort.

Required Experience:

Qualification and proven ability in the catering industry essential

Staff management and experience in running large kitchens essential

Accounts and budgeting experience essential

Customer service experience desirable
