PERU / SKIP- Supporting Kids in Peru
We are currently seeking an English and Library Coordinator to join our team in Trujillo, Peru. SKIP is an after school program for primary and secondary students in an impoverished area of Peru where we have a holistic approach to support the whole family. The English and Library Coordinator is responsible for training and supervising the English teaching and library volunteers, observing lessons, providing feedback and motivating the team. They will be developing and revising the curriculum and liaising with the local public schools in El Porvenir. They will also support the Primary Education Program. We are looking for someone who can bring creative new ideas to both of these programs and get the children excited about reading and learning English!
The ideal candidate will be TEFL certified, have experience teaching, experience living and traveling abroad, and an intermediate or advanced level of Spanish.
