Catering Manager, Costa Brava

PGL, founded in 1957, operates at 24 outdoor activity centres across the UK, France and Spain. We are the UK’s leading provider of residential activity holidays and educational courses for young people.

We’re currently recruiting for a Catering Manager at our activity centre, La Fosca, on the Costa Brava, for the 2018 season.

La Fosca is a 250 bed centre at the heart of the modern Camping Kings campsite. Guests take part in week long activity holidays, all delivered off-site at a range of locations along the Costa Brava. The catering team are responsible for providing up to 900 meals per day for groups both on and off-site.

As a Catering Manager you will manage the Catering department to a high standard providing an outstanding dining experience in a friendly and fast paced environment by providing tasty, nutritious meals and excellent customer service.

Reporting to the Centre Manager you will take responsibility to ensure that catering provisions are consistently in line with PGL standards and safety procedures, meeting agreed financial targets as well as the ongoing training and support of the catering team.

It is desirable that you have the following qualifications: Food Safety Level 2 or 3; First Aid at Work; Health and Safety Level 2.
