You must be a citizen of a EU country with a current driver’s license.
You will care for a wife, weighing about 50kgs. She suffers from Multiple Sclerosis cognitive progressive combined with Alzheimer’s.
Much of her days are spent listening to music or sleeping. She eats simple foods and needs encouragement to eat & help bathing. You will shop for provisions, cook and keep the kitchen and its immediate area clean and tidy.
Other staff are employed to do most of the cleaning and ironing.
You will have one day each week free and 4 weeks holidays per annum.
You will live in a tower of the Chateau; having a bedroom en suite and a sitting room with TV, central heating and the use of a swimming pool, car, Internet, telephone and full board & lodging without charge.
Your salary net of tax and government deductions will be 17,000 euros and you will be included in the French health system.
You will be located in a rural zone of SW France on a 192 Hectare estate including arable land (farmed organically), forestry and a lake.
