We are an established yacht fleet operator providing a small but growing fleet of sailing yachts and catamarans for charter in Greece. We operate from Athens, Lavrio, Skiathos, Lefkas and Corfu.

The successful candidate must possess, or be able to obtain, a valid Passport with an expiration date later than your initial term of employment, proof of a physical examination showing good physical condition.


The Yacht Operations manager is responsible for all marine operations in Greece. Primary responsibilities include:

Coordination and oversight of marine activities including yacht base operations, yacht maintenance, transportation and delivery of yachts,
Commissioning of new yachts.
Management and supervision of other team members.
Other duties assigned by the CEO.


Ability to live and work productively
Work and communicate effectively with a diverse group of people, field station staff and others, providing and obtaining needed information to ensure smooth operations.
Supervise staff, or help plan, direct or convey work instructions to other staff or third party contractors.
Independently analyze and diagnose problems then develop and implement appropriate solutions.
Consult with CEO to develop plans for resolution of unusual or complex problems.
Identify and disseminate lessons learned, best practices and methods, tools, consistencies and inconsistencies across seasons.
Coordinate Yacht maintenance schedules and winter layup maintenance schedules.
Control the maintenance done on each boat daily during winter layup.
Daily monitor the schedule of the team members
Keep track of spare parts, renew stock when needed.
Keep track with log books of the operation of each boat
Keep track of all the safety equipment onboard of each boat renewing when necessary
Keep track of yacht inventory renewing when necessary
Base operations during summer charter season, including check in /out
Quality Control the cleaning of each boat prior to hand over to clients
Maintain yachts in good order during summer season
Keep track of all cleaning materials, renew stock when needed
Ensure the guest satisfaction
Ensure the good atmosphere at work for the team members
Organise weekly training for the team
Report to the CEO regularly.


Will work 5 days per week, in variable weather conditions (hot, humid, wet), occasionally at a remote location, and under physically demanding circumstances. These conditions will involve considerable physical exertion and/or muscular strain, frequent possibility of injury, exposure to petroleum products, paint and fuels,


Bachelor’s degree and 3 years relevant work experience in the marine field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
English language skills to Cambridge Lower standard.
Fluency in Greek
Skippers sailing licence.
Powerboat licence.
Minimum 2000 nautical miles days documented record of underway sailing experience or similar documentation.
Experience maintaining diesel and gasoline engines, conducting preventative maintenance, and trouble-shooting and performing minor mechanical and electrical repairs while out on the water.
Knowledge of main yacht mechanical and electrical systems.
Knowledge of yacht electronics
Basic First Aid and CPR certification.
Experience providing education or interpretation about sailing techniques to a lay audience.
Experience using common software applications such as Word, Excel, Web browsers, etc.
Experience performing physical work and ability to lift 30kg.


Minimum licensed RYA Ocean master
English Language to Proficiency level
Additional languages such as French or German
Ability and willingness to apply science to guide decision-making and activities.
Ability to apply marine safety to guide decision-making and activities.
Knowledge of current trends and practices in marine safety.
Excellent communication skills via written, spoken and graphical means.
Ability to maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical, pump, steering and other boat systems.
Experience repairing and servicing diesel and gasoline driven vehicles and equipment.
Ability to operate a motor vehicle and possession of a valid driver’s license.
Factory certifications, marine trade education certification or certification in gasoline & diesel marine engines preferred.
Ability to manage time and diverse activities under deadlines while delivering quality results.
Ability to perform physical work, sometime under adverse conditions or in inclement weather.
