PGL have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Cook at Château du Tertre, in northern France. Château du Tertre is an impressive 19th Century Château situated in the heart of the rural Pays de Loire region. At peak the centre caters for up to 300 guests on a daily basis. Château Du Tertre has 36 acres of beautiful grounds, bordering the Varenne River.

The catering operations at our activity centres are modern enterprises set up to deliver excellence in both service and food as well as providing supportive and fun environments to work.

As an Assistant Cook you will build on your experience and help us continue to drive standards. This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your catering skills, including cooking, ordering, accounting for stock and staff supervision.

What do we look for in our Assistant Cooks?

Experience of working in a high volume catering environment.
The ability to deliver high levels of customer service.
A positive approach to team working and problem solving.
Excellent organisation skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Staff Package

We offer a competitive wage, access to training and development opportunities and a free staff uniform. Working hours are 35 per week over 6 days. The role is a fixed term contract with an immediate start until October 2019. Accommodation and meals are provided on site. Free return transport is provided from the UK.
